KILLSWITCH ENGAGE: New CD Sells 38K In First Week, Fourth Highest ROADRUNNER Chart Debut Ever
May 19, 2004KILLSWITCH ENGAGE sold a stunning 37,531 copies of their latest album, "The End of Heartache", in its first week of release to debut at No. 21 on next week's The Billboard 200 chart. This amazing accomplishment marks the fourth highest Roadrunner Records chart debut to date.
The follow-up to 2002's "Alive or Just Breathing", "The End of Heartache" was produced by guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and was mixed at Backstage Studios in Ripley, Yorkshire with Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, SKINLAB). "The End of Heartache" is the group's first full-length release with vocalist Howard Jones and drummer Justin Foley. Artwork for the CD was designed by the band's bass player, Mike D'Antonio.
